Yes indeed, this is the erhu player from the movie The Pursuit of Happyness. He was just sitting on the corner one cold winter day in SF and I happened to pass by.
Anyway, long time no update! Things have been pretty hectic with finals and projects mostly so I haven't had the opportunity to really update. Anyway, the final project ended up being an NPR renderer, I'm going to start working on a new ray tracer with added photon map and radiosity to send in with my internship applications, hopefully I'll be able to also make an IK solver if I have the time. One month a bit of a crunch if I want to finish those two projects, especially without TA and prof help. In any case, it'll be the ray tracer first. Currently I'm not really up to talking about future work seeing as how I just got out of school and I've mostly been vege-ing and playing WoW all day since I've been home.
After finals I went to go see Phantom of the Opera! The show was amazing, the singing could have been better, granted, but I still enjoyed it vastly. I would advise anyone reading this to go see the show but they're going to be gone by January 5 I believe and tickets are probably already sold out for the rest of the showings.
Christmas is almost here! I'm currently watching Love Actually for about the 5th time in a row now. I don't know why I like watching this movie at around Christmas time.
