Super busy couple of weeks = no photo updates for a while~

In any case, since there's been a couple of weeks hiatus I don't know where to begin.

First of all, my cousins and aunt from Taiwan came for a bit of a vacation and luckily I was able to get away from my busy little programming life and hang out at home for a weekend. Unfortunately I wasn't able to see them before they left nor was I able to see my brother the weekend he came home since I had a midterm that Monday and a ray tracer due that Friday.

For the most part, my weeks have been spent studying, doing homework, or programming. What else is new eh? Unfortunately I was not able to finish all of what was required on the ray tracer and had to end up turning it in a day late as well. I'll be starting over on the project just for my benefit since I've seen some of the really sweet images that it could potentially generate.
For example:

I'll probably be reworking the ray tracer multiple times before I can be satisfied.

My cooking routine is slowly becoming more asianified. I cooked dumplings today from scratch, well I pretty much emulated the way my mom makes them pretty unsuccessfully (I burned a few). I've also experimented with making varities of noodle soups, well I pretty much throw in a bunch of random crap and hope it turns out well. For the most part, it hasn't been half bad; although people could just be watering the plants with my soup while my back is turned....which would explain the dying plants.
