Updates are becoming much more infrequent on my blog. Well, I had a pretty busy weekend programming a Phong shader for 184 and managed to get it done. I spent pretty much all of Friday working on it then decided to scrap all of my work Saturday night and start over from scratch. Scrapping everything was thankfully the best thing I could have done and everything went much smoother from that point however I did go some 30+ hours without sleep getting the damn thing done. Next project is creating a ray tracer which should be exponentially more difficult than this one but also exponentially more interesting. Downside of doing graphics is that its super math heavy and because I've got the short term memory span of a peanut I have to constantly look up formulas and such in my linear algebra book.

I've been spending a ton of my down time browsing over Pixar's web page and their internship opportunities. Hopefully by the end of this semester I'll have enough material to submit an application and my resume for their internship program.
