There has been a preponderance of dead squirrels on the streets of Vallejo; I'm not used to seeing so much roadkill in one day. On that subject, I nearly ran over a cat earlier on my way back from Safeway. It jumped out right in front of my car and I slammed my breaks causing groceries to all fly towards the front of my car which resulted in some spillage of vegetables on the floor of my car. For those of you wondering, the cat was fine but had I reacted a half second later it most definitely would have been squashed.

Something huge happened on Columbus Pkwy, the road was completely closed off from close to the gas station near Benicia all the way until Regents Park. Police were everywhere and refused to let people through so my trip home from Safeway was made much longer. Come to think of it, if the road wasn't blocked off I probably wouldn't even have had that run in with the cat!

I've taken up golfing recently. Not serious golfing, just hitting a few balls at the driving range every day. It's super relaxing and really satisfying getting a nice clean thwack, I don't know why I didn't start playing sooner.

In need of:

3. Pudding

Things Learned:
1. It's a swing not a hit.
2. Don't rush the stroke. Really. Don't.
